Objective: Students will predict communication outcomes based solely on body language to recognize the importance of appropriate nonverbal strategies when presenting themselves. Silent video clips will be used to discuss importance of nonverbal communication. Instructional goal is to engage student interest in studying nonverbal communication and for them to pay closer attention to their own body language as a result. Can be used to introduce a larger unit on nonverbal aspects of speech delivery.
